How do I know if acupuncture is right for me?
We always conduct a comprehensive consultation and examination for all new patients. The doctor will be able to assess your specific condition and provide a comprehensive report on whether acupuncture may be beneficial for you.
Who’s eligible for acupuncture?
With very few exceptions, everyone is a candidate for some form of acupuncture treatment. Our youngest patient is one week old, and our oldest patient is 96 years old!
What do you use for acupuncture treatments?
With very few exceptions, everyone is a candidate for some form of acupuncture. The doctors are trained in a variety of acupuncture treatment techniques. The technique the doctor uses is tailored to your individual needs and comfort level.

Does it hurt?
In one word, NO! You might feel a slight ‘pinch’ when a needle is inserted, but usually, there is no lasting pain. In fact, most patients find acupuncture very comfortable and relaxing.
How many treatments?
This depends on several factors, such as the severity of your condition, how long you’ve had it, and other complicating factors. Anywhere from 1 to 20 treatments may be necessary.
How long does a treatment last?
Most acupuncture treatments last about 30 minutes. Once the treatment is administered, the patient will lie in a dark, quiet room and relax (possibly even sleep) for approximately 30 minutes.
